Interview with the brand Hildegard Braukmann
The Hildegard Braukmann brand stands for modern and innovative herbal cosmetics. The company specializes in the development and manufacture of products made from all-natural and herbal ingredients. We met the head of cosmetics Britta Strenger and asked her some questions about the brand Hildegard Braukmann:
What beauty philosophy is behind the Hildegard Braukmann brand?
For more than 55 years, HILDEGARD BRAUKMANN has specialized in the production of high-quality herbal cosmetics. When Hildegard Braukmann founded the company in 1962, she had clear technical ideas: she was convinced that the preservation of the beauty and health of the skin could not have been better off than in the hands of nature. From the beginning, she demanded and promoted herbal cosmetics, paving the way for the philosophy of effective, yet gentle cosmetics, which is still trend-setting. Over 450 high-quality plant extracts, vegetable oils, vitamins, essential oils and other active ingredients are used today.
How would you describe the Hildegard Braukmann brand in three words?
Naturally. Highly effective. Holistic.
Tell us something about the ingredients of your products ...
The basis of product development is the holistic approach. The focus is on the natural balance of the skin. To preserve it or eliminate deficiencies and disorders, the skin is supported to activate their own energy and regenerate. Product formulations will be as close as possible to the physiology
The same high basic requirements apply to all our care lines:
- Raw materials in tested pharmaceutical quality, preferably from controlled cultivation
- Active substances whose efficacy has been proven by studies
- Optimally dosed active substances that complement or enhance each other sensibly
- Very good compatibility - even with allergies and atopic dermatitis
- Natural recipes with herbal extracts and vitamins
Of course, we do not carry out animal testing on our products and do not commission any.
Which product line is particularly well received by customers?

The MAMA & ICH series is a holistic care concept, with supportive allergy prevention, for the pregnancy, lactation, young mom, baby and child. Very up-to-date and fresh: 3 makes 1st In the course of our relaunch of the men's series evolution, classic and attitude, the new men's series Braukmann was born. The functional herbal cosmetics are aimed at the new care-conscious man of today. The new holistic concept is effective and easy to use and caters to every need for care. In addition to existing products, the brand appearance in the new design is completed by new care products. These include cleansing, shaving and beard care as well as anti-aging care.
Do you have the ultimate anti-aging tip?

The Hildegard BraukMANN lines were revised. What has changed?
The three lines classic, evolution and attitude have been combined into one line. In addition to existing products, the brand appearance will be complemented by new care products in a new design. These include a new cleansing, a shaving and beard care as well as an anti-aging care:

Where do you get the inspiration for new products?
From our customers and partners. How to maintain close contact with our many dedicated beauticians and our clients to be authentic and close to the people. Only then do we develop our care concepts hand in hand in our manufactory in Burgwedel, an interaction of intensive research and innovative technologies.

Where do you see the future trends in skin care?
In the near future, the microbiome of the skin organ will be broken down. This is a big step forward in human skin care. Thus, we are increasingly able to come to the causes of skin disorders with innovative active ingredients. Our goal: healthy well-being and timeless attractive skin.
