Interview with the Italian brand Comfort Zone
The beauty brand Comfort Zone was founded in 1996 by Dr. med. Davide Bollati. His goal was to combine scientific knowledge, innovative research results and the power of nature in the Comfort Zone products. Meanwhile, the label is internationally known and offers a comprehensive range of cosmetic products for the face and body. We met Area Manager Angela Kleiber and asked her a few questions about the brand Comfort Zone:
1. What is the idea behind the founding of Comfort Zone?
Comfort Zone was founded in 1996 as a skin care division of the Davines Group, still in the hands of the Bollati family. We regard the skin as a mirror of our well-being, as well as our lifestyle. Our mission is to promote a conscious, healthy and sustainable lifestyle through science-based solutions for the visible improvement of the skin, body and spirit. Our exclusive products have been developed to achieve the most sustainable results for any skin condition. The company is still family owned to this day. Everything is in one hand, from research and development to the final product.
2. How would you describe the label in three words?
Skin- The skin is our focus, Science- The science our guide, Soul-The soul we turn to, for the world and the people around us.
3. Who is Comfort Zone intended for?
For anyone who wants to find an innovative and effective skin care solution and strives for a healthy lifestyle. It is very important to take care of your body to appreciate it.
4. Where does the company get the inspiration for new products?
We work with a team of scientists and physicians, these are the foundation for new projects. Through this multicultural team, we are always able to stay one step ahead for specific solutions.
5. Which Comfort Zone product you can not do without personally?
I never go to bed without my "Renight Creme" ... Our skin only has the possibility to recover during sleep, to repair accumulated damages and to support you in the regeneration. This cream contains Vitamin E, Gojibeere, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolysed Tomato Extract and Macadamia Oil for an intensive antioxidant effect overnight. It is suitable for all skin types.
6. What new products can we look forward to in the future?

8. Comfort Zone finances a charity project: Water. Tell us more about it ...
We care globally because we have only one earth and the supply of drinking water is not self-evident in many countries of the world. Water for Cambodia, wells were drilled in this project to provide people with water. It's a great project that we support with your help. 34% of people in Cambodia have no access to clean water (unimaginable for us) Although the country has a lot of drinking water, unfortunately, a large part of it is not clean enough to use it as drinking water, as many lakes or free accessible wells are contaminated. We at comfort zone believe that water is a basic commodity and can change a lot. That's why we decided to fund water with the help of bio-sand filters. The project started in 2015 and we received the first video update. It is very happy to see pictures that are already showing great progress.
9. What is behind the campaign I SUSTAIN BEAUTY?
We want to be the change we seek in the world. In 2016, we are a B-Corp certified company. In other words, we count ourselves as a company that voluntarily meets the highest standards of transparency and responsibility.
10. Your essential beauty tip?
The most important thing is to cleanse his skin properly. That's why I recommend our Essential line.
It is the first step for a healthier skin. Improper cleaning leads to inflammation and destroys the skin barrier. A good cleaning must be effective, but must not attack the skin-protective film. Therefore, it is particularly important to use soft formulations enriched with skin protection agents. We do not use surfactants, because this leads to the "rebound effect" Redness, itching and sebum overproduction are the result.
